Lovely, lovely pictures! I especially love #2 – the “action” shot!
Thanks Jane! There I was crouched down taking some close ups, not noticing that the waves were getting bigger until I was up to my knees in water…cue red faced retreat from beach with very wet trousers and shoes!
I get really achey at times, longing for the sea. I was born in a harbour village ( in Sweden ) and grew up in a harbour town ( in holland ) Somehow the sound of seagulls and the salty smell is part of who I am. Us northern souls are somehow misplaced in the South You live in such a beautiful place.
Lets see if I can talk the husband into moving back to the UK 🙂
I find the sea both soothing and envigorating (if that isn’t a contradiction in terms) – just half an hour can retore humour and equilibrium. We wanted a house here overlooking the sea but couldn’t stump up the extra 100k plus!!
Well, I wrote about this briefly on my post yesterday – the power and magic of the sea!
Whether it’s because I’m a Piscean, or just someone raised on bucket and spade holidays as a child – I absolutely adore going to the sea.
Regardless of how I feel, when I go to the coast I am healed and rejuvenated. I can stand and stare at the sea for hours, watching the waves crash and the tide change. It also reminds me how miniscule we all actually are to this planet – and helps put things into persepctive.
Beautiful pictures – as always x
Well you’ll have to come and visit then won’t you!! :0)
Oh I received your package! You are so kind! Thank you so much! I have blogged about it!
My pleasure!
